Workfest 2008: Day Four
I got up early again and had coffee with the leaders. They are an incredible group of volunteers. They come from Maryland, Wisconsin, Indiana, Texas, Illinois, Missouri, and Michigan. They bring with them a wealth of skill and caring.
Breakfast was a soufflé. It was perfect. Then it was time for our devotion. We read parts of the Passion and sang Lamb of God in between. It was moving.
Work today was more of the same, putting up flushing, working on floors and porches. The evening was freer. We had supper, devotions and reflections and then a bonfire. The stars were wonderful. We are all moving a little slower and making some grunting noises. Yep, we are working.
